SCHEDULING FAQ
Updated 11.26.23
I am looking to get in for an appointment ASAP. What’s the best way to go about this?
Join our waitlist! And after, please give us a call to ensure that you have a complete and updated file with us. All waitlist submissions from new clients or clients who do not have a valid credit/debit card on file in our system are considered pending until those steps have been completed.
A few suggestions to increase your chances of getting appointments last minute:
Be as open/flexible as possible during the timeline in which you are available (evenings or after 4pm are our most solid, least-likely-to-move last minute appointment slots)
Be open to the goal you’re looking to achieve (if you’re desperate to get in, can we accommodate a slightly less intensive service? Let’s explore options)
Be open to the artist you’re looking to see (when our front desk is able to utilize all artist calendars when looking for openings it will increase your chances of being able to book-in last minute)
Why does your color menu use numbers, instead of names I’ve seen before like “full balayage” or “partial foil”?
The world of hair color is experiencing rapid change. In turn, an influx of trends, techniques, and social media content saturate our feeds. Babylights, balayage, shadow root, corrective color– we could go on.
Hourly pricing is the basic structure of our color menu, with modifications based on the talent level (each talent tier is determined by years of experience, the least experienced colorists offering our base level pricing for hair color).
However, if a 3.0 is “3 hours”, and we run 15 minutes late with your appointment, there’s nothing extra tacked on the bill. The simplest way to think about it is– the higher the number of the color session, the more intensive and extensive the color work.
We’re happy to walk you through anything that doesn’t make sense. It’s our job!
Why can’t I book anything “hair extensions” online?
Our roadblock to allowing clients to self-schedule services in the hair extension world (aka, online book) is completely based on the risk vs. reward of it all.
The reward of providing convenience to schedule these types of services online without having to go through our desk/operate within our salon’s business hours is tempting. The risk lies in the complexity in scheduling these services. Allowing our clients to book removals, consultations, and hair extension applications would undoubtedly lead to misbookings.
Being that hair extension services require the highest investment of time and money from our clients we aim to do everything in our power to ensure appointments are booked correctly. That being said, the minute we can provide scheduling access to our current and/or prospective hair extension clientele without compromising on quality, you’ll be the first to know!
I am looking to book an appointment for someone other than myself.
IMPORTANT: If you are looking to schedule an appointment for someone else, please note that the artist(s) performing the service(s) need to be able to directly communicate with the person for whom they are providing the hair service.
Please note, the consultation and plan for the look will be outlined and decided upon between the artist(s) and the client. This applies to you if even if you are:
The parent, family member, or significant other to this person
Paying for and/or booking this service
Have always been a part of decision-making for this person’s hair in the past
If the artist(s) at any point feel there are hindrances to their ability to communicate and effectively do their job, leadership fully supports any decisions made against performing services.
If you are scheduling an appointment on someone else’s behalf due to a language barrier, please let us know beforehand so we can ensure we are doing all we can on our end to assist in translation.
Clients under 18
All communication regarding hair services is between the person who receives the service, the artist(s) performing the service(s), and the BLONDELUXE leadership team that exists to support both those parties.
Clients under the age of 18 must have parent permission to receive hair services and if applicable, pay for services using a credit or debit card belonging to the parent.
BLONDELUXE does not perform services for anyone under 14 years of age. Our leadership team supports all BLONDELUXE artists who have chosen to not take on underage clients.
If you are looking to schedule a service for your child, please email the salon (and email template is prepared for your convenience).
Can I bring my baby or child to the salon?
While we love kids, our salon is not an environment that can be accommodated to children. Our salon environment is designed for grown-ups. Frequently uncensored music and art, the ability to have adult conversations, a relaxing break from outside responsibilities, are all integral pieces of the BLONDELUXE experience. Lastly, our front desk is not staffed to care for clients and little ones.
In our perfect world we would be able to allow anyone to bring their kids as we know childcare often falls through last minute and we would truly love to meet your babes!
Thank you for keeping BLONDELUXE an adults-only environment.
